New to Pilates?
If you are interested in Pilates and wish to give it a try - our 6-week beginners course is the perfect place to start. We run our APPI method pilates courses in line with the school terms. The aim of Pilates is to improve core stability, posture, flexibility and balance. These classes will get you accustomed to the correct exercise techniques at a comfortable pace, with full support of a Chareted Physiotherapist on a 1:3 ratio. Our begginers course will put you in a stronger position to potentially progress to our more challenging standard classes.
What if you have an injury?
If you’re coming back to exercise after an injury, our beginner sessions will help you get back on the road to full fitness. Pilates will help you to develop a strong foundation preventing further injury and prevent you from pushing too hard, too soon. If you are not sure Pilates is suitable for you, or if you have an injury, like a lower back problem, we offer a pre-course assessment. In this session you will learn the principles of Pilates that include: alignment, engaging your core, centering, control, flow and relaxation. Your physiotherapist will be able to assess your limitations and plan your sessions effectively.
Small Sized Classes
We offer Monday or Tuesday morning classes which we aim to run on a 1:3 ratio. This unique ratio allows our instructors to give you greater attention and superior coaching, providing you with all the skills and support you need to practice pilates safely and effectively.
We ask you to come at the same time every week for a 6 weeks course. Once you have completed the beginners course, you can look to book on to our standard classes which are more challenging
